This week we’re talking all about your everyday work with your babies, or as I like to call it, your Montessori Practice.
To start, if you’re here, reading this post, and ready to evolve on your journey with your baby, you’re already an amazing Montessorian.
And the reason I call your work with your baby your “practice” is because your work is something that is ever evolving.
In our practice, we learn about things like human development, how to best teach our kids, how to help them through transitions, positive parenting, purposeful language, and so much more.
We collect baskets, sew aprons, buy furniture, hang low wall art, and so much more to best optimize our babies’ interactions with their environments.
And while those approaches that we feel is best may work today, they may not work tomorrow. As tomorrow your child wakes up a new and evolved tiny human; having grown and learned so much from the day before.
Our babies grow so quickly into toddlers. And then into young children. And each step of growth is so important and yet they go by so fast.
And so we learn. We research. We evolve our Montessori Practice with our children to best meet their needs. And that evolution is truly something remarkable.
I encourage you to hold your practice close to your heart, because I know how quickly things happen when you’re in the thick of it.
And so my biggest tip within your Montessori Practice with your baby is to slow down, take deep breaths, and enjoy the small joys that a Montessori lifestyle naturally brings to your baby’s everyday experiences.
Here’s to you, your baby, your Montessori Inspired lifestyle, and your ever evolving Montessori Practice. 🙂
